Stripe-first by design
Latuos handles delivery and storefront operations. Stripe handles payment processing and payouts. Funds flow directly from buyer to your connected Stripe account.
Included in the 3% platform fee
The 3% refers to the Latuos platform fee only. Stripe processing is separate. VAT may apply where required.
- Checkout and digital delivery workflow
- Secure file access and post-purchase delivery
- Seller control with no platform-held balances
What the 3% fee is paying for
The 3% platform fee covers the hosted storefront, checkout flow, secure file delivery, and the product layer that sits on top of your Stripe account. It pays for the software that helps a seller publish products and deliver them after purchase, not for payment processing itself.
Stripe still handles card processing, payout timing, refunds, disputes, and the payment dashboard because the seller keeps the direct Stripe relationship. That split is intentional. It lets a seller use a hosted storefront while keeping payment visibility in the system that actually processes the money.
As volume grows, the economics become easier to compare. A percentage fee is usually attractive when a seller is testing, launching, or selling inconsistently because there is no fixed monthly overhead. Once revenue is stable, the break-even question becomes whether a subscription platform with 0% platform fees would cost less overall. The fee structure stays simple, but the right choice depends on how predictable your sales volume is.
